Grace and mercy are often confused. I heard it explained like this. A policeman pulls you over for speeding. Mercy is when he lets you go with no ticket, Grace is when he writes you a ticket then pays it out of his own pocket.

Grace is what Jesus did on the cross. He died so I could live, He defeated sin for me, He defeated death for me. He died to become the filter through which God looks at me. Grace is His provision for me to get through each day, it is the power behind anything I do in His name.

Grace is Gods mercy & gift.

Salvation (eternal life) is Grace, a gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ redeeming blood.

Being saved today by making soul choices to follow after the Spirit is Grace for today.

God gives us Grace in hour of need, where we can come before the Throne of Grace 24/7. It is always good to thank Jesus for His redeeming blood first. For it is His Grace (redeeming blood) that we can come before God. Not by being good enouph ourself.

After I have done everything I can do, and really really tried my best, with a sincere heart, (and God knows my heart) That he will forgive the rest, that, I believe, is the Grace of God.
