I'm fed up with immigrants wanting more rights than what 'traditional' Americans have. What can I do to keep their rallying from getting them undeserved rights?

First of all , know that your peace of mind is the most important.

Since all of our ancestor's are immigrants unless you are full blooded native american, than the country is obviously run by decendants of immigrants.

The immigrants you see marching and protesting now Do Not run the country. They are simply wanting a better way of life and are afraid the government is finally beginning to close the door. Most of those who march for greater rights or press for issuance of citizenship are those who have established a life here. Many of them are hard working people who pay taxes and may have relatives here who are not yet residents or citizens so they are hoping that their relatives will not be deported.

The fact is the U.S. has had a loose stance on immigration because of the benefits it has provided to industry.
That is why, even though policy becomes tighter, the door is still open.

Don't be fed up, and as difficult as it is, try to ask yourself or put yourself in that person's shoes. It doesn't mean it is right but it may lend a bit of compassion the equation.
I try to focus on truth and what we can
Easily see is the U.S. government has allowed this by not having a tougher border policy. Cheap labor been helpful for businesses that have to compete on a world scale. It has kept the price of produce and other goods at reasonable levels. So there is postives and negatives.
Those immigrants who show contempt and disrespect toward the country that is providing the opportunity are only digging a hole for themselves.
Focus on improving your life so much in the area of health, wealth and love that you don't really have time to let this bother you.

OK Slippery not all ancestors are immigrants. And if the immigrants that means they are legal. If your re furring to the illegal ones then yes I see your frustration but the only states that let stuff like this happen are ca. and any lib state in that part of the country.
Antis thats funny that you say there is no fence yet well If your in new mexico around summer time I would like to see you. I will be helping build the fence. Just wait and see.

Your a descendant of an immigrant..so, thats kind of ironic.
Interesting, when has an immigrant demanded MORE rights then an American? And do you realize that immigrants can be american and immigrants at the same time?

Immigrants running the country? How can anyone run the country on 2$ an hour in terrible working conditions? I for one think that only qualified immigrants should be given good jobs, but starting a rumor of them begging for more rights then State born citizens, running the country? Madness.

I agree with you on most of your points here. One thing, however, is this: The people who are coming here illegally and demanding privileges like not having to obey our laws, getting handouts from the govt in return for their illegal votes, etc are not really immigrants. Immigrants are people who have come here legally and are willing to become Americans. The ones who sneak in here and try to make this country into the mudpit they just slunk out of are more properly called "invaders" and should be treated as such.

Aside to Wyett,
If you are going to gratuitously call people "redneck" for disagreeing with you, how if about the rest of us refer to you as "leftie weenie". Sound good? In addition, even the Cherokee and the other "native americans" are descended from people who immigrated here from somewhere else. Depends on how far you go back.
Another aside to C-Bunhead or whatever. You calling the asker a bunch of stupid names (dragged right out of the liberal cliche catalogue) does not make your argument, what little there is of it, valid. At least try to use more creative insults to make up for your lack of rationality, please?

"Why do we allow immigrants to run our country?"

Because the Native Americans were suffering from smallpox so they weren't able to fight off the invading European immigrants because they were just too sick. So now we have the descendants of immigrants running the country, like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Because we decimated the Native American population, and there are not enough of them to run the country. So immigrants it is.

I think that same question was asked a couple of hundred years ago by some "traditional" Americans wearing feathers sitting round a camp fire.

instead of penalizing those agencies that are outsourcing center classification jobs and are destroying the middle classification, we rewarded them by giving them tax breaks to create extra jobs in India and China. instead of letting the bankers pay for his or her personal blunders like they could in any genuine capitalistic society, we bailed them out on the help from the middle classification taxpayer, who's interest grow to be paradoxically outsourced by those self same crooks who then walked off with million greenback bonuses.
