There can be many reasons as to why your dog would be vomiting long less have blood in it too.
It could mean the dog could have a ulcer. It could of swallowed something that made it sick. Has the dog been out of the yard tooo where the dog could of gotten poisoned?
Has the dog's appetite changed? Is the dog drinking water?
Does the dog act like it is feeling bad?? Is the dog having difficulty breathing.
Sometimes people will throw up so hard that they will have some blood in the vomit.
If you are concerned call the Vet. Do not take any chances now days!!
Good Luck

If you vomited up blood, how concerned would you be? This is how concerned you should be about your dog.
Yes dogs vomit on occasion, as we do - but blood is a bad sign. At best you can hope he just ate something that cut his throat and made it bleed - but this is then likely to cut his stomach inside, or his intestine, and cause serious problems.
Blood in vomit could be caused by many things. None of them are good, so please take your dog to a vet.

Go to the vet asap. Any type of blood in vomit can be very serious. Dogs should never have blood in their vomit. You need to take you dog to the vet.

dont worry, it could be that, while playing your puppy hurt itself and thats what caused the blood and vomitting.
however, i would advice you to take oscar to the vat, remember.....its better to be safe than sorry.
all the best and dont worry!
