I wear several different hats.
I am highly faithful and very religious, but I rarely talk about it unless I feel that it will not offend.
I believe very strongly in everyone's right to faith, lack there of, or current indecision.
Sometimes I will avoid saying what a really believe if the person I am talking to seems to be in crisis of faith or vulnerable, even though that can be when they are most evangelical or outspoken.
I have, also, found that though I enjoy religious and philosophical debates, they are often VERY time consuming. There are so many wonderful things to do in this world that I sometimes regret lost time spent talking to people who are not really listening anyway (my former wife used to get so mad when I was late coming home and my only excuse was that I had been sharing with the Born-Agains on the corner, and forgot the time).
At work I almost never bring up heavy topics, it is just not appropriate. If someone wants to meet up later over a drink I will gladly buy, and talk belief then.

Well as of right now my door is opened. In society we are all misfits and rejects to one group or another. Im a misfit to atheists and agnostics. But not to most Christians and I use that word loosely. Christian is just a title to many claim now days. So we will never fit in with everybody unless we are spineless jellyfish who agree with everyone. Even then when one finds you are a waffler like Bill Clinton they will call you a coward. So were all misfits. Just sing the song Why am I such a misfit, I am not just a nit wit, you cant fire me I quit, Seems I dont fit it. Peace out......

I have a faster wit in person than on the computer but are mostly equal. I wouldn't say or type anything on here that I wouldn't say in person. That said I don't think there should be anything like misfits and rejects. They are all people too maybe with different looks & clothes than what I wear. It would seem very arrogant to exclude people from my life based on a different set of likes and dislikes.

I don't see your qualifyer's as Mutually Exclusive. Many people who are/were consider(ed) brave.
As for the question itself. I really don't consider myself especially brave, in general:D. I am sure I have my moments. Yes I do share my beliefs, especially spiritual beliefs, both online and in real life.
Honestly, for depending on what you consider, society, yeah I guess I could be called a misfit. But once again, this applies BOTH online and in real life.
I strive, though not always successfully to follow Bible principles, allot of which, like no sex before marraige, aren't very important in "society". Outside of this, in school I was often the smart one, or one of the smart ones. I was not good at/didn't care much about sports. I rarely watched the same shows as other kids. In that "world" I was DEFINITELY a misfit.

I'm an individual member of the global community.
A misfit? If that means not fitting in with the majority who blindly follow popular wisdom thrown at them by the media then I'm okay with that.
A reject? Certainly not. I'm successful in my profession and have a wonderful family. I'm lucky enough to have married the most magnificent woman in the world!
Everyday that I'm alive is a day full of wonder and hope for the future.

I only speak my mind on a comuter through the internet, because it is the only place where I have the time to think about what I want to say. And yes I think I do qualify for a social misfit.
I don't think everyone fits into this category though. Most people are better at socializing than I am. However, I do think that people are more rude on the internet than they would be in person.

In society I'm a general non-conformist, but I'd hardly call myself a reject. I have a good circle of honest friends whom I would trust with my life and vice verse. I have a loving family and a well adjusted child - so no, I'm not a misfit or reject...

No , and Yes to the second ? by worldly standards . Many ,
many people are intimidated by the message of the Gospel .
But their also are many that recieve it with joy and conviction .
How about you are you sure that you are saved ? In Jesus we
all have strength and bring His message forth as true believers . Was not our Jesus rejected ? did it stop Him ?
No , not at all . In fact He died for just that reason , to let us
know that our God from the beginning Loves us and want to
have a relationship with us , with you . Trust in Him and you
will never ask this ? again . May His Peace and Mercy be
found in you............

misfit, yes... reject, yes.... but coward, no. The rights of people, the freedom fights and human rights movements were not won but socially accepted people, but by misfits.
