No Pope has ever suggested that Purgatory does not exist. Purgatory is a core doctrine of the Christian faith, and no doctrinal belief has ever been eliminated by any Pope, nor could one ever be eliminated. What you are confusing is probably the Pope's comments regarding the popular notion of Limbo, which never was a defined doctrinal belief. The Pope has discouraged, though not forbidden, belief in Limbo, precisely because it is NOT a doctrine of the faith.

No.
The Pope was talking about Limbo, not Purgatory.
+ Limbo +
The Church has pondered the suggestion of Limbo for a few hundred years and has decided that it is not a good idea. Limbo was never official doctrine.
Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)
For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. The Bible does not explicitly state that they will go to heaven.
Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.
The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

+ Purgatory +
Catholics still believe in Purgatory.
Are you perfect now? Most people would say no.
Will you be perfect in heaven? Most people believe yes.
Purgatory (or purgation) is the process of God's love changing our imperfect selves into perfect beings.
Depending on the amount of change needed by different people this can be an easy or slightly harder process.
Everyone in purgatory is on their way to heaven.
I don't think Mother Teresa of Calcutta had a very hard time of it.

+ With love in Christ.

Why would not having such a thing as purgatory have anything to do with "is there a god?" Your life is your purgatory...you have the option to get it right here but that is the only option you have! So the answer to your question would be No.

Limbo has always been a dubious concept and the Pope recently clarified its status in official Catholic teaching.
Purgatory has never been officially defined by the Catholic Church either - it is a theological hypothesis, accepted by some, questioned by others. It has a firm place in the tradition of the Catholic Church - but has never been formally proclaimed.
Neither has anything to do with the existence of God, which is an immutable fact.

properly, then needless to say he's in no way examine the bible reason as all of us know the bible replaced into inspired by utilising god yet written by utilising adult men. It exciting nevertheless how the bible in Matthew 24:4-14 which talks related to the "fake prophets who're deceptive" yet another great ingredient to observe is Matthew 24:14 is that it talks related to the "stable information of the dominion would be preached in each and all the inhabited earth for a witness to each and all the countries and then the top will come"

The Pope did not do away with Purgatory...it was Limbo, which was never a formal teaching of the Church. It was my of a theory that was left up to the individual to decide their beliefs on the matter. Most people chose not to accept it as truth...so the Pope did away with it.
God bless,

Wasn't the decree related to Limbo?
Maybe purgatory is the next step.

NO, they need God, God is the foundation of the profit.
Just because they change their stance on issues and beliefs constantly doesn't mean we should subject them to scrutiny. We should accept what they tell us like good sheople.
It has been said that since the Pope is the closest extension to God anything the Pope says is law. So if the Pope said God doesn't exist shouldn't God end?

The Pope has made no such decree. He spoke about Limbo, which was an entirely different concept from Purgatory.

No I don't.
1 Limbo is not Purgatory....
I think it is more of a idea that the Catholic Church is moving towards stricter Biblical Interpretation, less "Traditional Church Doctrine".
The off shoot of Protestants is from the split off more belief in what it written in the Bible, less filtering through old doctrine.
