Unfortunately, there is no way to tell when a slot machine is going to hit. Slot machines all have a random number generator inside. This means every pull is independent from each other. I have played at machines that have hit 3-4 times in a minute and other machines that don't pay off in a 10 minute span. It is all random and there is no way to tell when a machine is ready to hit.

There is NO way to tell when a slot machine is going to hit. The machines are random!!! You could win no jackpot for days yet the machine next to it could win twice in ten minutes.

The amount of money played has nothing to do with the winning. Besides if a person could tell when the machine was going to "pay off" how could the casino make money. BTW casinos make more money from the slot machines than from all the table games.

Best tip for winning with a slot machine: Walk Away. Slot machines are as random as a computer can get. Unlike table games, which have odds that can be calculated and used by the player to make decisions, slots do not.

The slot machines truly are random, controlled by a computer that doesn't care if you are good looking, young, old, needy or greedy. It doesn't care if it has been fed money for a long time without paying out anything substantial. Each spin of the reels is independent of another spin, and has no "recollection" of the machine's payout history.

Suppose the jackpot symbols are 7 7 7, and bars and cherries pay you smaller amounts. Imagine 232,000 pieces of papers in a jar, each with a symbol on it.. There are twenty 7's on the slips of paper, 40,000 bars, and 80,000
cherries. You pick 3 slips of paper out of the jar, each slip representing the symbol on the reel. THEORETICALLY, you could draw 3 slips of paper with a 7 on each slip every time you drew. But, based on the number of other symbols on the slips of paper that you could draw, it would be highly unlikely.

And that, in a nutshell, is how a slot machine's random number generator works.

Casinos wouldn't allow slots if there was a way for people to get an edge on them. There are tons of stories about waiting for slots that are "due" to pay out, but these are urban legends.

Play for fun if you like, but don't expect to beat them.

Unfortunately, you just cannot know when a slot is going to hit. They're made for stealing your hard earned money.

Sorry, but if anyone had a scheme that really worked, they wouldn't be allowed to play.
