Yep! Certain drugs cause you to have this irresistible urge to pick at your skin. Cocaine, speed, meth, some painkillers, cause some to pick their skin. And what's really sad, is you're probly picking at stuff that is only noticed by you and no one else. If you can't get off the speed, try to change your skin care habits. Be sure to wash your face two or three times a day, and use an antibiotic cream on the places that already look infected. Try to find something else to do with your hands...anything, rather than pick at your skin. Good luck.

I can relate to addiction and that skin is going to give you away to everyone. If any family or friends haven't figured it out they will now. Your wearing a marker now and everyone knows you are an addict.

Why not get some help? There are some great new medications to help with detox and energy. You could also go to a 12-step meeting and talk to people about how they kicked the habit. They are free and in every town. Many, many options exist for you to get help.

You need to find out why you have done this to yourself. Once you figure it out, you can work on the problem and find a real solution. Drug abuse is just a symptom of a bigger problem, and it only masks what is really happening inside of you.

I know how hard you think it is to stop doing drugs. But the empowerment you will feel from taking back your life is so huge. It will feel so good once you have conquered this addiction, you will feel 1000 times better.

Never done it; However, seen a few who have. The skin picking is a normal byproduct of Methamphetamine use, go to a physician and tell him or her your problem and that you need help. A physician will not and cannot report your usage to police, their only concern is your health. So, if you want to clear up those sores, you're going to need to drop the meth.
