I suggest some alternatives which I used to heal my depression completely:
- Take tyrosine (a component of amino). It helps to boost your energy level and therefore motivate you.
- Take vitamin B & C to fuel your brain and combat stress.
- Get plenty of sun.
- Get plenty of exercise to sweat it out and pump oxygen into your brain. If you jog, run as fast as you can until you are out of breath before you stop.
- Analyze your diet. Not enough water or too much acid.
- Meditate by focusing your thoughts on your breathing. Meditate will strengthen your mind.
- Pray a lot. Have faith in the religion of your choice. Believing that someone powerful is willing to help you, strengthen your belief you will recover.
- Use auto suggestion first and last thing in the day : "Everyday in every way, I am getting better and better." Repeat the sentence any time your are free like traveling or waiting. Record and play it to yourself. Say it with positive feeling.
- Don't take anti-depression pills because the pills makes you sleepy but it does not help.

Try yoga with relaxing music in the morning and night. Your body is linked to your mind. Once your body feel great, our mind will improve.

Diversity will surely help. Try to do something that it is beautiful or interesting and that you have never done before.(going to a dance course, frequenting a different club or supermarket, go running, any sport will help).
Then, try to help others even with small things, like, I don't know, carry a bag, watering a plant, giving an advice. This way you will help yourself. Just seeing the gratitude in the eyes of another is so pleasent!....
And pray regularly, every morning and evening at least a short prayer. Go to church on Sundays, if you can.
Try to be around people.

Speaking to a therapist or psychologist can help a lot. Sometimes discussing your issues and knowing that you are getting help is the most help.

I had a lot of emotional problems after finding out that my son had a chronic and potentially life threatening extremely rare blood disease called S.C.A.D. and attending a week long outpatient group therapy session helped me a lot.

In this say and age, needing some emotional support is nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. Let those around you know that you are having problems. If someone is unsympathetic or indifferent, then don't talk to them about it.

Know this... There are people in the world, people you haven't even met before, that actually care about others. Even people they don't know. Like myself. I care.

its hard when in a spiral like that and cant seem to get out of it. Depression is always i feel a difficult topic to advise on. I would say
1) See your GP!! Maybe advise some counselling
2) stop taking the tablets your on
3) Try some healthier food to give you energy
4) Write down how you feel
5) Drink in moderation or not at all if can as alcohol is a
depressant

I don't know if pills are the answer, they may just mask problems..maybe counseling would help? But then again if the problem is physiological then maybe you do need medication...without knowing more I don't know what help we on this site can give. For example did something happen to trigger this depression or did it just come on by itself? That would kind of indicate whether you need counseling for an issue or medication for a chemical imbalance. You would probably need to talk to a professional for this one. Good Luck

Take a laxative and drink about eight glasses of water a day. Especially when you eat extra fiber, you need to drink more water. Sometimes eating too much fiber can make you constipated when your body is not used to all this extra fiber in your diet. Try to exercise, drink more water with the fiber, and take a stool softener and a laxative too.

Yep, get a grip on yourself and clean up. Don't whine on the Internet/y/a. Walk outside and enjoy what you see, trees, flowers, clouds and people. Take long walks and enjoy what you see, hear and smell.
