I see some on here stating that muslims can't live peacefully. Ok, please state any major national news showing so in the West or anyplace outside of the ME and Pakistan. I am a muslim, I live in the US, and I don't care what my neighbors believe. To be honest, I only know the belief of one. The others, we chat and help each other out and religion is literally never a problem It's the same all over. You want to say that the small amount of the nutcases claiming to be us means we are all like that? Ok, I can say all Christians are like the VT shooter as he was Christian, and I can also say that all are serial killers as well, as almost every serial killer is a white christian male. You don't like it? HOw do you think we react? You want to say we should round up each and every one? Fine, round up each and every baby snatcher that is shown on TV and in various stores. Round up every rapist, murderer, etc. You can't? Neither can we, as it's impossible.

Thank you!

How can Muslims stop the behavior of other Muslims
when Americans can't control other Americans?

When Americans can stop all of the rapes, killings, child molestors, sexual harrasment, racism, poverty, school shootings, kidnappings, gangs, the high level of pregnant teenagers, child pornography, the high rate of STD's, the worst healthcare system and generally all violent acts
will be a cold day in hell.

"Muslims and peace"
"Christians and serial killers"

I am a Christian and a person who welcomes the friendship of other civilized and respectful people, no matter what religion they follow. Religion is a private matter and does not need to be shouted from the roof tops.

As far as I am concerned I don't assume that any Muslim is automatically a terrorist, just because of his/her religion. That would be a tunnel-visioned and stupid assumption.

On the other hand to assume that a Christian (?many Christians) automatically has the genetic make-up to be or become a serial killer (like at VT), is also stupid and misinformed.

People should meet each other on neutral ground trying to get to know each other so they could understand each other better, before they form such strong beliefs about each other. Knowing each other better, leads to trusting each other, relying on each other and more harmony all around.

* Imagine some "Alien/Out of Spacer" landing on this earth observing the Human Race. I am sure when he sees the chaos and the hate among the world population, he would shake his head, leave the earth in a hurry and in disbelief.

**Terry, please explain more about "Ex-Muslim"

Every religion has a few practitioners that use their beliefs to justify violence, murder, and more. Those are the ones that get the attention, not the peaceful ones who live quietly, work hard, and help their community. Muslims are in the news because a few such nutcases have collected a larger group of followers. Had the mass communication media been around then, christianity would be in the doghouse for the Spanish Inquisition.

I can't tell you how to stop bin Laden and his followers. I can only hope that you serve as a peaceful role model for your religion, and that people notice and realize that, no matter how much press the nut jobs get, most muslims are like you, not them.

Anybody from any religion can use their teachings to back up an act of violence/terrorism carried out against other people. These are usually the ones who everyone hears about, instead of all the good acts that come from that respective religion.

Just because a Christian person goes on a terroristic rampage doesn't make Christianity a religion of terrorists and the same is true for the Muslims, Jews, Pagans, Wiccan, etc.

Actually.. the VT shooter wasn't Christian. He hated them. (Read the documents he wrote.)

And I know plenty of Muslims that live peacefully among us. It's just the nutcases that are making all the noise. But those nutcases number in the millions. It's not a "small amount". And when you have that many, right or wrong, it's easy to get scarred.

God bless

Why are you so extreme approximately this subject count? It occurred see you later in the past. The Greeks, Romans, Moguls, and so on even have been given into many wars and conflicts. you do no longer grant any materials, and that i've got on no account heard of Urayna tribesmen. via the way, while the Moguls invaded the Islamic lands, destroying all library and pupil works; they began construction mosques instead of establishing towers of heads. i won't provide you any materials, merely discover it out your self. specializing in only one characteristic and leaping to conclusions won't get you everywhere, nor will you have an entire understanding. sure, i understand with regard to the 9/11 assaults, and a great number of individuals condemned it. desire you're happy with what occurred in Iraq, a rustic that on no account straight away threatened the U. You are right. Religion should never be a problem. It is what you do and is not a business of anybody. But do not dress up, or do all sorts of actions which will identify you with this or other group. And if there is someone that does not like that group, you have controversy! Be like all the people around you. Remember it is not God's requirement for you to grow hair or cut it wear brown or black, eat one thing but not the other and so on. It is so primitive to burden God with all this demands, for be sure He does not give a hoot about what people invent.
Another word for God is FREEDOM. He gave you FREE WILL which no one can take it away from you. And to say that God will punish you for something you do using your free will, is to call God a hypocrite. God loves all of us including all the "bad" and "good"
and He can never be offended or hurt. Relax have a good day.

I agree with you 100% sister!!!

True Muslims listen to the word of Almighty Allah (swt) and make peace with others, instead of doing what these terrorists out there are doing.

As I stated in the past, there are many, many, terrorists in the world. Not all of them are Muslims.May Allah (swt) help us to live in peace and not be among those terrorists.

Allah (swt) knows best.

First of all, if the VT shooter were indeed a believing Christian, he would have followed God's Word and not shot anyone. His actions did not reflect his faith, if he indeed claimed to be Christian. Any person can stand there and claim to be under the banner of Christ, i.e... Jim Jones, David Karesh, etc... but that does not make them Christian.

On the other hand, Muslims have been killing one another, and those they consider "infidels" for centuries. Unlike Christianity, Islam teaches it's followers to kill all those who are non-Muslim, especially Christians and Jews. The Bible teaches no such thing.

Your statement is without fact or merit.

i don't know, all of the Muslims that i met in Iraq were good people just trying to make a living and they all put their lives on the line (it happens when you go onto a American post) to provide for their families. many of the terrorist have been brainwashed by some radical Muslim so that the radical can feel closer to his god or to get ahead in his political career
