Basically PH is a scale that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is by measuring the hydrogen-ion concentration . The scale ranges from 1 to 14 with 1 being very acid, 7 neutral (pure water) and 14 very alkaline.
Our pH levels effect the rate in which chemical reactions that involve enzymes can take place. Optimal pH levels do not change between different bodies and has a narrow range of about 7.35 - 7.45. pH levels can effect the rate of digestion and energy levels

It sounds like you've been fed some bull by those TV quacks. Your body will have a pH of about 7.4, which is slightly basic, with the stomach very acidic (pH about 2 when empty) and the vagina less so (about 4.5). You have to be quite ill before your buffer systems are overwhelmed and allow your pH to be very far from 7.4, and your body will go to extraordinary lengths to stay there. If your pH were to go to a seemingly trivial 7.2, you'd look sick as a dog, and somebody would be calling 911.

Normal body Ph is 7.35 to 7.45. If ph is low then there will be a condition of metabolic accidosis and Sodium Bicarb will be given to correct such imbalance. It can affect lung the buffler system; the heart , kidney and the lungs.

We don't all have "our own pH". The human body functions in a relatively narrow range of pH values, just slightly on the acidic side. Some body parts vary slightly (female vagina slightly acidic, male semen slightly basic) and of course stomach acid is very low pH (acid).

They are things that can only be discovered after hundreds and hundreds of trials. And of course, strict restriction needs to be in place. However, because the basis of science is always changing due to new discoveries, we need to also have sympathy to the drug company as well. They are not miracle makers, they only try to make profits by selling something that they "think" might help other people. Imagine the world without antibiotics and other medication, how many people would have to die? If we agree that science can be changed, the drug company might not have an excuse of increasing medication prices because of law suit. Also if we look at any other area that has used the socialist system it has bogged down and failed to live up to its Utopian promise. No system is perfect but open and free market is the best out there.

the pH of our blood is 7.0...we are mainly nuetral. But if you were to look in our stomach, the pH is about 2.3, very acidic on account of the need to digest foods
