Ok - So i've liked my personal trainer for a while - and he asked me to go to a concert with him the other night.
We got into the concert and it was dark and I though that he was going to make his move, but nothing happened (although he did have the flu). (It was a sitting down, and watch concert)

I really enjoyed the concert and would like to get to know him better.

At the end I mentioned that we should do it again sometime and he said sure.

Anyway I have a fitness test for my job (which is what i'm training for on Sunday). Was thinking of asking him out for drinks on Sunday night (just him and I) if I pass the fitness test, what do you think? Too forward? Do you think he would be interested? Any ideas on what I should say?

first of all.... he likes you cos he asked you out in the first place.
secondly he said 'sure' about next time and third, if you dont ask him out then he will.
if you dont want to make it sound like a date, just offer to buy him a drink as a thanyou for his help, and dont take no for an answer.
things are bound to heat up when you hit the bar either way!

It can't hurt to ask him out, he asked you. If you want to make it not like a date, tell him you want to go out an celebrate after your fitness test and that is your way of thanking him for his help. It may be a better way to break the ice, and see if there really is a connection, and no one gets embarrassed or thinks anything other than it is a celebration. Good Luck

No your not being to forward, he prob needs it about the drinks on sunday night yeah definantly, and dont stress to much he is already interested in you, he could be a little shy on making the first move, dont act all 'desperate' just let things take their course. good luck with it anyways

He was obviously interested in you enough to ask you out initially. Did he sound sincere when he said, " sure" or was he being polite? If you think he was sincere, then go for it!!!
Good Luck!!!

He would be thrilled! It's not too forward at all. Guys like to know that you're interested. We're not all that bright when it comes to the subtle hints...

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. "Wanna go to my place and have sex?" is forward, asking someone to get a drink = Normal behavior.
