Yes, I would.

Religious superstition has done much harm in the world. It is great when someone is able to overcome that superstition.

And, yes, atheists and god believers hold over 99% of the same beliefs. It's just that we differ on whether invisible sky beings exist or not. God believers just don't like to admit that as much.

When you get down to it, everybody is more the same than different. We all are shaped by the society we live in, as well as families, friends, peers, and our own experiences. This is why for all their claims, religions also evolve as society evolves. They change over time, though lag society in certain ways by holding on to some antiquated ideas.

No, I'm not out for 'winning converts to the FSM'.
Mind you, I think it's great that someone decides to have an apostasy and leaves the irrationality of religious faith, but it doesn't make me happier as a person. I could care less.

Kind of non-sequador, but this question reminded me of the saying:

"Saying that a believer is happier than a non-believer is no more to the point than saying that a drunk man is happier than a sober one"

But yes, I would be happy.

I am generally not concerned with people's beliefs in every day life. As long as it is not forced upon me I don't care. In my job I work with lots of different types of people with different religions and beliefs. I have had the opportunity to visit mosques and temples and am quite happy to respect the rules of their places of worship. But the other day I was visiting a Christian group and they started praying for me. It was all very nice as they prayed for my good health, etc etc, but I thought it was rude and assumptuous. Luckily I am a patient person but really I can do without people deciding that I beleive or agree with that. I would not attempt to push my belief on them.
