I run every other day, and I got a bad cold at the end of last week, I am blowing my nose all the time and am stuffed up in general. If I kept running (like 30-60 minutes every other day) would this keep the cold in my system longer or would it not matter?

Take a few days off your routine in order to feel better. When your body is sick, it is busy trying to fight off the intruders. Then if you try to exercise on top of that, it's just too much strain. Stay in and maybe do something low-impact like yoga or pilates. That way, you are still exercising in some form...just not running for an hour. If you exercise now, it will take longer for you to feel better.

the cold has to run its course, no matter what you do, but when you exercise, you place stress on the body.. if you come down with a bad cold, your body's systems are already being compromised, adding your regular exercise routine on top of a bad cold may hamper your ability to get well faster. however, i found that when i ran when i had a stuffy head or cold, it seemed to bring some relief to my sinuses so my suggestion to you is to cut back on the exercise and give your body a chance to recover from the cold.. if running makes you feel better, then i would keep doing it but not as long until you feel better.

If you had a bad cold then u wouldn't want to full stop. When ill your body needs to recover and repair itself and inorder for this to be possible you need to rest and eat plenty of vitC

Keep exercising, but maybe as hard as you do when you are healthy. Just make sure to rest when you need to and stay hydrated!
