it isn't my spine or anything, my front left part of my neck, it hurts extreemly bad, and has for 5-6 days. i can cope with pain very well, i had MRSA, close to the avian flu, and i barely said a word about the pain, well anyways, so it hurts extreemly bad, especially when i swallow, i dont have a fever, im not sick, and the only thing that seems to work, and only for a few hours, is ibuprofen, but it still hurts a little when i take 400mg. it feels like someone cuts my neck all the way down when i swallow, but after, the pain goes away, almost. i dont know how it started, it just came out of the blue. the time that it hurts the most is in the morning, but it still hurts very bad at lunch time and at night. what should i do about this? please help, i cant stand it anymore.

This could be swollen glands and that's why you experience such intense pain when You swallow. It's possible it's some sort of infection. You need to go to the medical doctor and have this checked immediately.

Drink hot tea with lemon and honey to help soothe the throat. You can also massage downward on the area of Pain. This can help the glands release toxins. Do these things while waiting to see your medical doctor.
