My answer is NO. A man could go to anywhere for a holiday and wish to have an affair. You'd better worry about him if he does not think so.

Every man is an individual. To make a general statement which implies that every man goes to Thailand for the pure enjoyment of getting a little bit of something it doesn't seem fair to those who are genuinely looking to have a good holiday.

Why not ?
Should man going to Thailand not have sex ?
become a monk ?
Your question is wrong assume you mean with thai lady,
in that case also why not ?
(when both are willing)
Your queston then should be with thai "working" girl,
in that case why not do some man in your country not also pay for sex ?
People forget that SEX in Thailand (and other Asian countries) is looked very differently compared to western culture which is very strong influence (2000 year) by catholic church. (saying no sex before marrage, only sex to produce childeren do not see it as fun/basic need like food and drink).
And in Thailand more money going around in sex industry for locals is (10x more) then money going around in sex industry for tourist. But the local part you do not see..............
In Taiwan 3x more money is going around in sex industry then Thailand with 1/3 of population then Thailand.
Dont look true western glasses.......

Of course he can but it would be up to the individual, regardless if it was Thailand or Australia or Europe, Holiday flings happen all the time but Thailand has a lot more to offer than sex for sale.

It really depends. If a man were to go to Thailand and EXPLICITLY look for SEX, it is a sure chance he will get it.
However, if he doesn't actively look for it, he won't get it. It's the same with every country. You have to know where to look and you have to let others know you are 'on the prowl'.
So, it doesn't depends as much on the place but on the man. Like the man always say, 'we like to go to Bangkok to bang the c***.'
So... yeah. It depends on the man, like I said.

I've been working with my american boss for years and he's been visiting Thailand more than 24 times a year but he never paid attention to this kind of things. So do my other foreign collegues. Only some types of people who may visit massage palour for the sake of sex but they do not represent all other visitors to the country.
Thailand is no different to your country, there're good and bad people and you can find postitutes everywhere in the world including your own home country. They're there since the birth of mankinds.
Think more positive lady.

Why not? I go to Thailand for a short retreat every year with my friend or family. Thailand has great food, and a great place to pick up good bargains. I also love the good foot massage. (not the sleazy ones). Pattaya is a good place to relax and strolled around. So is Phuket.
P.S. - I'm not paid by the Tourist Authority of Thailand to say this:)

That would pretty difficult to do. I was just there for 8 days. And I do go to the sex massage places there when I need relief and some fun. One day last week, I decided I did not want to take the time to walk to the subway etc. and went to the hotel's spa for an oil massage. To make a long story short, the gal gave me a hand job when I was on my back. I was not expecting it.
If you go to a bar, except maybe a hotel bar, there are always thai ladies hanging out. And they may vary from hookers to ladies just looking for a good time.
So, unless he's a mormon, has a strong constitution, hates loud music and very shy. Then the answer is no.
And for the most part other than scuba diving, sex is what is the main reason that most men go to thailand.
Please note, that because of the economy of Thailand it is an easy way to make good money for the ladies who were born outside of Bangkok. The average office salary is maybe 10,000 baht per month, sounds like a lot, but, that translates to USD 286 per month. A room to sleep costs 4,000 baht per month, bus and daily food, another 3,000 baht per month maybe more. Cell phones cost as much as the U.S. 3,500 to 4,000 and more. Cell phone charges, you could probably live on 1,200 to 2,000 baht per month just text messages and phone calls. Plus utilities which could run another 500-800 per month. That leaves 200 to a 1,000 baht for entertainment and clothing. Yes, things are cheap there but..... Many ladies work 2 jobs and sometimes that second job is as an escort.
The average earnings there is low. And the tolerance to the sex trade is high.

Sounds like you're a bit insecure.
Are you talking a single man or one who is spoken for? If he's single, who cares how he chooses to get his rocks off, you pay for it one way or another. If he's spoken for, of course it is possible, but it is up to the individual. The same "spoken for" man that would dabble his stick whilst in Thailand, would do the same with your best friend while you're not looking.
I've been married for many years and just got back from a few months working in Malaysia. I went up to Thailand almost every other weekend while I was there, so many times I started getting hassled because my passport looked like I was trafficking. While there were many temping treats, I'm secure/faithful enough to keep it holstered. I went diving several times, went on a few fishing trips, saw quite a few wats, did a whole lot of hiking, but for nightlife I tried to keep myself away from spots that would cause me trouble, and had no problems.
Do you reckon a woman can have faith in a man and not piss them off? I hate to tell you, but many guys I know who do get some side action justify as "she doesn't trust me, so why should I be trustworthy?", and personally its hard to argue that point.

a man going to Thailand without having a quickie on the side is like a woman going shopping without her credit card. Thai girls do come from poor circumstances and it is sad that they are taken advantage of by western men.
So I would say that it depends on the type of man who will go to Thailand for a holiday, rather than just a holiday and cheap sex. And, lets be realistic. What's the reason that men go there anyway?
