I am about to turn 30 and I was just wondering.

well... seeing as how i'm going to stay 29 1/2 for the next 9 years... um...
no.. i was happier in my 20's and 1/2 of that was dealing with raising my baby on my own due to death of husband.
even after all that i was still happier then, than what i am right at this moment.
life brings you down. and all you can do is pick yourself up and dust yourself off. and check to see if anyone was looking when you fell.. (how embarrassing)
time will tell.. I've only been '29 1/2' for OMG 7 months...... great~!! didn't realize it has been that long.. time to call the doctor for some anti-depressants
if you are in your 20's live it up... don't regret that you didn't have fun. because when it's time to 'settle down' you don't want to say 'coulda,shoulda, woulda'

My 20's were great! I was very happy. My 30's sucked royal. My 40's were better. And I'm hoping my 50's are even better yet. I may not be happier, but I'm more stable and have more peace about life.

in a different way, when in my 20's i was touring with a band. 30's got married and had a family had to get a "real" job. So it's a mixed answer but I'm not unhappy at all about the way things went.

Well I have more material things now now like I own a home but no I'm not necessarily happier now than I was in my 20's.

I'm 40 and have never been happier. I have a great home, beautiful wife, two terrific kids and I'm financially secure.

Yes! Trust myself a lot more and I am more comfortable and accepting of myself. I also don't worry too much about what others think of me, its what I think about me thats important.
