Yeah, I always use my sun cream the year after as I never use it all in one holiday. I also keep shampoo and shower gel for ages like when it is on buy one get one free. Its a good idea buying now as you won't have so much expenses all in the same month then.

Of course they'll be fine! I have sun creams from last year that are still good and I always buy shower gels and the like when they're on offer and they last forever!

Make sure you wrap them in a couple of layers of plastic bags and put into your check-in luggage - the new regs at airports prevent you from taking on board a flight anything over 100ml of liquids, gels and pastes, so effectively anything bigger than a small tube of toothpaste. Anything over this limit wil be confiscated.

shampoo, conditioner and body lotions usually have a shelf life of 2 years, so they will be ok to use later on this year.sun cream usually have a shorter shelf life so check the expiry date but it should be longer than 6 months.

I don't see why they wont keep. I always buy my toiletries 2/3 months before i go away, its cheaper that way and there is always offers on now.

So go and get them early and have a great holiday.

I heard that if you use last years left over sun cream it may not offer the protection factor you expect as it deteriorates.

Most products have use-by or best before dates on packets. Check these and buy the ones that cover the period you would be using them.
