sunil gavaskar also has 34 or 35 centuries
brian lara has 34 centuries
if it is highest individual score in odi then it is 194 by saeed anwar
in test 400 not out by brian lara
in first class cricker then it is again brian lara 500 not out

I think at present it is Ricky Ponting from Australia. Brian Lara from West Indies scored the highest test score a couple of years ago, something just short of 400 runs.

Brian Lara, scoring 400 not out against England in St. john's, Antigua in 2004. He also has the third-highest score, with 375 against England again in 1994.

If I have not mistaken you would like to know who will end up with the most number of centuries in test circket,certainly it could be pointing.
Ricky Pointing is at his best and Tendulkar is past his best.
