Sometimes a woman's cycle will change all of a sudden, maybe due to stress or illness. Ovulation could have just been late for some reason.

Was this a normal period or was it slight? You may be pregnant & this "period" could have been implantation bleeding. You may have been pregnant & miscarried a week later ( this is very common) or you may be under some stress either physically or mentally & your period was just late. If you are really worried go to your GP & have a blood test. This will give you a definite answer one way or another. Good Luck!!!

It can be. My cycles are normally between 30 - 35 days. Sometimes my periods are later. Makes it hard to concieve. If you are trying to concieve, the best bet is to have sex every two days. If you're concerned and your cycles are normally exact, see your doctor. Don't worry though, there are a lot of things that can upset your cycle such as stress or illness. Good luck!
