Where I live, the ambulance crew is volunteer and gets called to respond and must go get the ambulance and then come to you. The Pizza Hut driver is already at Pizza Hut waiting for you to call.

Coz you pay for the Pizza and they need more of your business... the ambulance doesnt need your business and they probably stopped off for pizza on the way to your house anyway...

normally when people call for an ambulance the expect it to fall out of the sky, we do have other calls, which can be cardiac arrests, very serious RTA's, suicides, or even crank calls........... so give us a break we do our best
