"love is just an extention of like. in order to love something you must like it first."

think about it. you obviously like the person enough to have them upset you and dislike them. so therefore..its still like you have over the person before dislike.

so please try again.

CG..you are getting at the point i'm trying to make. like IS LOVE..and LOVE IS LIKE..so therefore love at first sight is possible if you simply LIKE them. because inorder to love something you need to like it first. many pointed this out. that they dislike something but love it as well. no you LOVED IT FIRST OR LIKED IT FIRST..til it upset you enough to DISLIKE IT. see the point? do be lazy. think about it.

and all answers are good to me.

On one level i would say thats true, you do have to like someone first. But also, sometimes I know I love someone, but at the time I really dont like them because they have upset me and made me angry or done something that I really dont agree with. Thats a toughie!!!

i think it's true to a certain extent because for me..i wont be able to love something i do not like in the first place.. but i also disagree with it to a certain extent because for me..love is much much more than merely an extension of like... :)

True to an extent but sometimes you can love someone without liking them. eg after a fight with a family member/husband/wife etc.

Well, yes I would have to agree with that statement. It isn't really possible to be in love with somebody you don't like- however it IS possible to be in LUST with somebody you don't like. Therein lies the defrentiation.
Tricky or what ;)
