The media shows it on the news every night. Why don't you people stop killing each other. This is not our war. We should not be there. This is a civil war. It is sad. I am sorry to see women and children maimed and killed. But you are doing it to your own.

Though i am not into hating anyone or anything a high percentage of society are.
Looking for any form of sympathy for innocent iraqs isn't going to sell.
I don't know the statistics but wasn't this the whole point of the invasion of Iraq was to save and protect the innocent.
From what i have saw so far they aint doing a very good job and it doesn't take an Einstien to see that. Though i do feel the soldiers are 'innocent' victims too.
Get our men and women back home is what i say.....

That's pretty sick and sad. It's not that Americans don't care - or even the media. People do care that innocent lives are lost. In all actuality, it rarely makes the front page of the news anymore that American soliders continue to die everyday in this ridiculous war. I pray for all innocnet blood shed - Iraqi or American blood. It's blood shed all the same and those people deserve to be remembered.

It is the most appalling double standard, but that is the American Media for you...the American people don't respond to dying Iraqis the respond to dying AMERICANS. and that is where the saying "if you want fair look at the weather" comes in. America isn't going to start looking at Iraqis because America is out for #1

Because 200 iraqi people dying is the norm. People dont like to hear that our troops (british or american) are dying, but they dont really care about iraqi's. Totally double standards and just fuels the fire for all terrorists that are against out countries.

properly one reason is that comments imbedded in iraq can slightly get out of the golf green zone and while they do they are with us troops, so as that one layer of filtering ideal there. its on the information, i think of you're frightened abou the intensity of the insurance, and that i agree, Virginia Tech exchange right into a tragedy, yet no longer the only one. And for persons asserting that the iraq bombings arent information, its basically unhappy that human beings interior united statesa. cant see how american is considered by employing human beings outdoors of it. human beings in maximum different countries have taken a arms off attitude. The UN exchange into in contact with nuclear inspections befor the conflict and that wasnt adequate for us. So now iraq is so undesirable we cant even get a senator to depart the golf green zone without apache helicoptors and massive bodyguard presence. so which you will think of how no longer uncomplicated it is for a usual reporter

Ignore it? Every day on the news, we get a tally of deaths in Iraq. It is not ignored, we are just used to hearing it. It is being reported, just people react differently to death a few thousand miles away. More people are dying directly from drug overdoses too, but that does not get coverage, that too is something people are getting used to.

Because we don't give a f*ck. We tend to care less about things that are close to home. Yeah hundreds of people are dying but most Americans can't really understand the atrocities that are going on over there.

Iraq is suffering from a war.
The U.S. is trying to help and their soldiers are dying as well.
That is the difference.
Stop trying to make things worse by pointing fingers and fueling hatred.
BTW people in countries all over the world (e.g. several in Africa) are being murdered as you read this...I didnt see any news flashes of those.

I´ll tell you why. Because we believe that when something happens in our home (america) thats more important, than that in the world.
Besides we start our lifes everyday reading about Irak, watchin news about Irak etc. We are so accustomed to it. HELL
