pet insurance? What insurance plans do you have for your pet?

I would recommend Pet Plan or Kennel Club insurance. They are the more expensive, but that's because you get the best cover. Many insurance companies will only pay out one time for one condition, which is no use if your dog gets a lifetime condition and needs ongoing meds, as they tend to in old age. Petplan will even pay for prescription diet food.

Where are you from? I hear pet insurance in America has become more of a liability, which is a shame because it can be very useful.

Here's the Petplan website for you to have a look at:

Personally I would always get my pet insured, especially dogs, it's just not worth the risk otherwise, as the majority of people on these boards demonstrate when they say they can't afford the vet! You can get cover for death of your pet, which I personally wouldn't bother with, but cover for accidents and illness is invaluable.

Well, my pet has acidental insurance, so if he's in a car crash or hit by a car, he also has health insurance so if he get seriously ill, i don't pay a full amount fof his surgery etc.

Good luck on choosing!
PS: my boy is a golden labradore, 4 years old.
