Med Lab Science is a great pre-med major. However, even with that degree, it is best you contact a pre-med advisor at your institution to make sure you have all pre med requirements met.

I read in a newspaper once that a guy who had a degree in Humanities, went on to pursue a medical degree.
As long as you have the pre requisitions you can study Medicine or anything you desire!

Of course. All kinds of majors can lead to a medical career. You just have to take and pass the proper exams to win entrance to medical school. Go for it.
