before the beginning was a cause
and the entire purpose of the cause was the creation of effect
in the beginning and forever is the decision and the decision is TO BE
...
and from that point forward he has gotten into more trouble than you can easily poke a stick at.
...
Evil and sin became a matter of viewpoint, but where aligned to the decision to BE - you get anything which doesn't forward survival concepts as being evil.
Sins only become 'valid' where you transgress against the rules you've agreed to play with. This isn't hard to do when you get insane governments creating more rules than anyone is really able to know about.

The 'religious' experience is triggered by deep depression, starvation, near death, or other highly charged situations. The 'born-again' christian phenomena has a scientific basis....yes, your limbic system. Why has man evolved this mechanism you might ask? Simple...it was a survival mechanism of our cave man ancestors to cope with a hostile and unknown universe.
The cerebral cortex is a more recent development. Here is where our rational and logical thought processes take place. It is here that the atheists have found their basis in reality.
In reality, there is no sentient, omnipresent, omnipotent supernatural being, supernatural entity or force....therefore all the inequities and misery of the world will always persist, some will have good things happen to them and some not, some will blame the invisible entity but objective reality wins all the time....no matter how hard some try to get that limbic brain of theirs to work...sorry

Quick answer: There isn't. Nothing is good or evil.
Long answer: Sin and Evil are social variables based off of a societies current thought process on a subject (i.e. taboo). It use to be a sin to date outside your race (I know there is an old testament story where a man was killed for dating one not of his area). It also use to be an ok practice to marry your kin (royalty during middle ages loved this practice) now its a sin.
Alternate answer: Because without evil there would be no good. You couldn't have good without comparing it to anything evil to verify that it is indeed good.

well if you are a Christian, like me, it is from Adam and Eve after they ate from the Tree of Knowledge. This gave them the ability so sin and cause strife in the world. Also it is because of Satan who wants revenge on God for sending him to hell. Satan wants chaos in the world that God created and there are those that stop it and those that don't. That is why.

Because God has allowed Lucifer to test us.
This is due to God granting us the freedom to choose to worship him or not.
Without the choice to worship freely, Satan would not have the ability to tempt us.
