I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.

Provide you update it regularly, McAfee is reliable software. You've deleted the virus, you've searched again and it's no longer there. Well done, you've got rid of it. Just make sure that your anti-virus software and virus definitions are up to date and you have nothing to worry about.

Get AVG which would give you virus and spyware protection for your computer. I don't know what anti virus program your using now but if it is Norton then the virus won't be deleted off your computer since Norton isn't good at all. Get AVG and search for viruses to see if the virus is on your laptop or not.

I had three of these Trojan horses and after running AVG and spyware, AVG failed to detect, while spyware detected and each time said deleted it was still there. The only way a mate of mine got rid of it was to install XSOFTSPY which detected and deleted no problem.

1.Install and run each of these you dont have. They are all free from good links.
Antiviral. (free)

AVG free. Excellent protection available from: http://www.Grisoft.com

Don't use two antiviral products together as they may be incompatible. If your Antiviral trial has run out, then remove product from your computer and get the AVG installed.

Anti-spyware (all free)

Essential products are: Adaware SE from: http://www.lavasoft.com

Spybot SD http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybo...

Spywareblaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareb...

Windows Defender - from Microsoft downloads.

Spycatcher

PC starter kit at download.com 20 of the best recommended programes for people new or less advanced in computers. Check all three pages, at bottom see Security/Tools/Fun

C Cleaner.http://www.ccleaner.com/

This will tell you a lot about what is on your computer, such as running programmes, cookies, History, settings etc. and will help you clean up and remove unwanted items. Be careful how you use it as it is a very powerful programme and you should read the help index before you do anything with it.

2.Download avg antispyware and run it. Then delete what it finds. Then run ccleaner then restart. then run the avg cleaner again to see if its on there. And hope its not on there. If u cant get it off the pc im not sure what to tell u. Avg is what took all of my trojans off my pc

3.without knowing what the trojan is makes getting rid of it harder,
so, try going to www.bitdefender.com and use its free virus scanner, also restart ur pc while pressing F8 to enable safe mode and then run ur antivirus and also ur ad-aware.

4.Your can use this antivirus and anti-spyware tools for FREE:

5.Depending on WHEN you got these critters, you could try a System Restore to see if that works. You can do this by going to:

START | PROGRAMS | ACCESSORIES | SYSTEM TOOLS

Then click on System Restore. If you had it turned on, you might have a restore date prior to the viruses coming up.

All these will most certainly speed up your computer. Good Luck!

nian3555 and waiching liu are the ones who have sent that virus out to Yahoo Answers users. Report them to Yahoo. They aren't too happy about being exposed but who cares about them? They are racist terrorists.
