It's not dangerous, weirdos are. Some people can become so obsessed that they track it back to where it was uploaded, and hang around the area. Don't ask! I've known some very odd characters who encourage people to put their details online, and not for good reasons. It's amazing how many people will believe the girl with the lovely name - who is really an old tramp with no standards and free internet access!

Most people are normal, and won't bother you, and they can ask you for a picture, when they actually know you, and you can choose or not to offer them a copy, when you know them.

Up to you. You could just try it out with a picture of someone you don't like, and see what happens? If you use an avatar, or a cartoon image, and you get unpleasant emails, you at least won't feel it is a personal thing. OK, I might as well tell you.

It's rarely (if ever) dangerous. For a person to be victimized on the basis of their picture being visible online would be comparable to being struck by lightning while holding a winning lottery ticket. Not only do I have my picture, but I also have my first & last name up.

On fb: If faculties or employers see p.c.. of you doing stupid issues they could be much less possibly to settle for/hire you. additionally if there is p.c.. of you in scanty clothing and additionally you're below 18 you will possibly be able to desire to be charged with baby porn. i think of what could be maximum suitable is to have like a pretend call for fb so as that employers and so on won't have the capacity to look you up, in the different case substitute your privateness settings. And for issues as nicely fb as an occasion yahoo solutions in case you have an actually image of your self on your avatar and somebody recognised you they could are conscious of it replaced into you, whether you needed to maintain your self private at right here. Plus if somebody like chanced on your information the p.c.. of you're able to enable them to discover you extra handy than something. And what seems worst to me is that in case you place a %online of your self whether you're taking it off somebody might desire to've copied/stored it already and have it whether it extremely is embarrassing. yet overall, it extremely isn't any longer THAT risky as long as you're clever approximately online secure practices.
