And only one of my friends have said congrats to me. Almost all of my friends are my boyfriends friends wives but I still consider them my friends. Even my closet friend didnt say congratulations. We were trying for a long time and everyone knows how badly we wanted another baby. I dont understand why theyre not happy for us. Why are they acting this way?

I dont think that it is that they are not happy for you.And I must say that I take serious offense that you seem to think that it has anything to do with that they were not married b4 they had kids. Thats just wrong! I think that maybe they just didnt know what to say...Alot of people dont say congrats all the time. I never say it, it diesnt mean that I am not happy for someone I just dont say it!:)_

They just didnt take the time to think how much you would appreciate something so small as a simple congratulations. Sometimes people are so caught up in their own world they forget to think twice about what might be going on in someone else's.

Who knows why people act mean when good news happens for their friends or family. After reading ur question the only thing i could think of is they arent happy to see u have a child out of wedlock or maybe ur age is a concern for them

I would say jealousy. I am 41 and feeling maternal again, but I know with my problems it would not be a good idea, so when my niece found out she was pregnant yes I felt a bit jealous. It is a wonderful feeling to feel a life growing inside you. Okay I want one now!

no idea while people react that way - maybe they are a bit jealous, overwhelmed, with the news and have to process it all... I'm pretty sure they will come back to you on that and say congrats eventuelly...
With regards to your friend you speak of in your question, dont you think it's time she/he gets out of that closet ?...:-)))
