What are some really good rockabilly or greaser bands? I absolutely love The Smiths, which is kinda (Keyword: KINDA) like rockabilly band. Please feel free to throw out any bands that are in that cool 50's (Or 60's or whenever this kinda music was around) theme!!!!

If your looking for good rockabilly bands, you have to start with Elvis Presley. His music is considered rockabilly. Many may consider it pop, but the man started out as rockabilly. Think of his songs, blue suade shoes, jailhouse rock.
Bill Haley is another rockabilly musician. Many of his hits were considered in the rockabilly style. Rock the Joint, Crazy Man Crazy, Also Rock around the Clock.
Some others are,
Sam Perkins, Roy Orbison, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent. Creedence Clearwater Revivial, Stray Cats
Some bands you wouldn't think that are rockabilly, are british like the Beatles, Stones and others of the british invasion

1. stray cats rock especialy mericale in menphis
2.christian rockabilly band: the pioneers
3. I found a local california central valley band called arms of grace who are like a christian roots rock band neer waterford and turlock thier pretty sweet.
