What if i die, will somebody cry for me?

Of course! There is always someone out there that loves you. The real surprise is when you get hurt, all of the kind people that come to you, and you never even knew that they cared about you. I am always amazed at the large amount of kind people that are there to take care of and help if I ever get hurt or sick. I am sure that you would be surprised also.

More than likely yes. I saw my grandfather during the end of his life hear the news, and cry because somebody he did not know had died tragically. I believe most of us don't really grasp just how many people may genuinely feel sorrow at our passing- even those that we may qualify as a passing acquaintance. Perhaps you did something nice for somebody that made their day- and they would be saddened that the person they hold in high esteem (since that's probably the thing they'd remember most) has left this world. The real question though, is how many people will remember your life once you're gone- and manage a smile after a tear at the thought of it? Pray my friend, and know we are all loved.

I tell everyone that when I die , the only people I want at my wake are the people that have been with me through life. Any ex friend, ex wives, any family member who didn't associate or talk with me should stay away. They are not invited. I'm not having a funeral. So , only the people at the wake would be the ones that would miss me. I want them to remember the good times , happy times, no tears, no recriminations.
Do you want someone, anyone, to shed tears for you? Why?
Let those dear to you shed their tears in private, recalling your life with them. I think that means more than public demonstrations of their grief.

I'm sure plenty of people will cry for you. I think everybody has moments in their life when they feel like nobody cares about them, but I'm sure there are people that do. Think about all the people you've known in your life: coworkers, classmates, neighbors, etc. I bet a lot of them will care if you die. I'm sure your family will care as well.

There have been several good answers- but I question why you've asked this question....

So my question to you is - are you asking this question because you're contemplating killing yourself?

First if the answer to that question is yes then you really need to talk to a trusted friend/family member/ counselor/ anyone!!

Also- yes people will cry but they will also move on with their lives - and you won't. So don't kill yourself just because you know others will mourn your death, people will always move on, better if you stick around to say hey to them once in a while. :)

Well it depends if you are admired by anybody
a.if your the kind of person that have no family no friends,
i-am-sorry
b.if your the kind that have people that care for you
or they might not show it you will have people that cry for you
if your're like a. which is unlikely my guess is maybe there will be
but why wouldn't anybody cry a person that's nice and caring?

Well, you won't know it, because you will be dead. But if you are a Christian and believe in Heaven, you *might* get to see how your loved ones are reacting to your death. But if you KNOW already you have people in your life that care and love you, you KNOW they will probably be sad and cry when you die.
