She won't listen to me that I think she looks the same. She's already a pretty girl and the braces aren't even noticeable because they're the clear brackets, the only metal you see is the thin wire going across the teeth. Is this a deal breaker for you guys?

I got mine in when I was 20. Hasn't changed anything for me, if anything I've noticed more guys noticing me...but remember its all about confidence too. If she walks around moping, then thats all they're going to notice, if she walks tall and proud, then that's what they'll notice. And you're right, I have the clear ones too, and you'd be surprised how many people never realize I have braces until I complain about a tooth ache. The one thing they noticed the most is a slight (very slight) lisp, and after a while, even that doesn't get noticed.

Wait for the right guy, Hun! Just because your friends are having sex it doesn't mean you should be! When you find the right guy he'll accept you as you are, virginity and all :) He'll probably even feel special because you gave him your virginity! Also, if you give it to just anyone in the end... You might hate yourself more. I understand how you feel about yourself, for the longest time I hated everything about myself. When you find the right guy you'll know, because being around him will make you happy and you'll start noticing things about yourself that you like because you'll be with someone that likes EVERYTHING about you :) Wait for the right man, Hun! It's the best option because when you find that one special person and give them your virginity... Even if he's not a virgin, you'll share a kind of bond and the relationship will feel more special :) Trust me, I went through this already! (At a younger age, but it's the same basic situation otherwise, lol.) GOOD LUCK! :)

Actually, I know a few girls her age who got braces put on and looked really cute! I was friends with a guy who liked one of these girls. He specifically said that the braces made her cute. She was confident with it, which is what made it work for her. When she got them off, he said he was less attracted to her...that he would have to get used to it.
So the motto here is "Make it for work for ya!" You sound like a good friend...So tell her that.

I would hope not. And if it is a deal breaker, the guys are shallow. But by the time she gets them off, she'll have the laugh last.. with straight teeth..

No not at all, actually if they are the clear ones you cant even tell from a distance u have to be really close and pay ALOT of attention to the wire (if you could find it!).
