If I had to guess the # of times total, it would be in the ball park of 40 times due to being a Career Army Soldier's wife for many, many years and flew overseas, often. He was in the Army 30 years. We lived overseas the last 7 years of his career and I was able to fly along with his General when there was an empty seat because the tours were hardship careers, but allowed families. Also, I was being shipped back and forth between Greece, Turkey and Walter Reed for various reasons.
You are correct, sometimes the ears do hurt, especially if you have any upper respiratory infections.
I even got to fly on an Army Cargo plane in a netted seat with a huge piece of military equipment taking up most of the middle of the plane. That was an adventure by itself. That was an extremely LOUD flight!

Yes i have. If the weather is good, the plane is new and the pilot is experience enough, the take-off and landing should not be a problem.

I suppose I have been because I deplaned, and you can't deplane from not being on a plane. I think a tornado sounds just like an airplane coming in for a landing when the landing flaps are down.

Yeah, I've flown on a bunch of airplanes. The most recent trips, my ears haven't really bothered me at all ... but there was one trip where my ears were hurting so bad, and the "stuffed up" feeling lasted for 4 hours after we had landed. I kept "holding my nostrils and blowing out" to try to unstuff them, but nothing was working. It was really annoying.

Actually I have never been on a plane before. Its kinda embarrasing but its true. I have always wanted to go on one but I have never got the chance to. My dad always gets to go on them cause at least once a year he takes a plane to Mexico to visit his family. So its pretty sad. All my friends have been on one so whenever i say I havent they are like "Are you serious?" I am like "ya." So I dont know what its like being on a plane.

I've been on a lot of planes. My favorite flight was a night trip to Oklahoma. There was a big lightning storm in the distance and it was awesome to see it jumping from cloud to cloud.
