Really, it's like people are dying everywhere and everyday, even the U.S. soldiers in Iraq. And people are saying that we should have stricter gun laws, which won't make a difference at all because people can get guns anywhere like from friends or family relatives.

Taking Guns away from honest people will be unfortunate but those who live in cities don't know about whats going on in the small towns other than the children share a hopelessness. That hopelessness is why we have shooters, the first happened in Texas, by a guy named Richard Speck,in the Fifties, so its nothing new. However, we as individuals can act to change the hopeless feelings by acknowledging others and listening to their worries. Often, just listening cures many ills.

Yes, of course they will, what is anyone REALLY doing to stop it? If things were to be changed, then it would have after Columbine, but it didn't. Like you said, removing guns from legal owners will not solve it either. To stop this from happening, the solution is this...people need to be more respectful toward each other, recognize AND RESPOND TO a problem when you see it, remove the trash that we call entertainment from general public view and consumption, and make the punishments for criminal offenses so strict that people will fear for their lives if they get out of line. Oh yeah, one other one, get back to a standard of morality and decency (you know the one I mean) that you can either accept or get out of the country or go to prison. Until this is done you will have senseless murders like the ones that have taken so many human lives.

I believe the sociopaths see the heartache and recognize that there is only so much that is fair.

It's my belief and hope that the future shooters will limit the number of victims so we will be able to truly care.

If too many victims are murdered at one episode, the media may just show the names and faces all at once, instead of one by one.

It is very important that we see the loss of life. Be sure your children are shown the sadness of the survivors and the greatness of the victims.

How the National Enquirer competes with the major networks, I can't understand.

It's a world in turmoil and it's like someone or something let out a million pitbulls out into center ring. It's mayhem and I constantly find myself clinging onto the freedom that our own lives still have from wars past. It's like Bob Marley sang ..."emancipate yourselves from mental slavery"...but it's seems to be getting tougher to do that nowadays...

I hope it gets worse, maybe then thing really would change, and there is alot that needs changeing, none of which has to do with gun laws.
