Is the nut on my H-D Buell/Sporty front drive belt pulley reverse threads?

I believe they are. Just makin' sure. It's a damn big nut!

some older hd,s were reverse thread so it could be,give the buell work shop a call just to make sure.how do you like the beast, does it handle good? was looking a getting one for track days.

If memory serves me correct, Sportsters had no left handed threads, unlike the big twins.
On a big twin, the clutch hub nut is left handed, but the sprocket nut is right handed.
If any threads are showing, you could tell by looking at them.
