The hippy look was "in" at the time, and was most striking for guys back then.
Bell bottom blue jeans, baggy tie-died shirts, lots of clanky, clunky beaded or metal jewellery, sandals.
Hair was Beatle haircut style or hippy style (that is: long, unkempt and stringy), or the style your parents wanted you to have because they wouldn't let you wear your hair in style. Headbands were popular too.
Leather jackets were in, some with fringes.
Women wore a lot of long, peasant dress styles, muslin blouses, sometimes hand-made shawls, bell-bottom blue jeans, long tunic jackets, mini-skirts, macrame belts and ribbon chokers around their necks. The mood ring was "in", also dangling pendants, often with the "peace sign". Hair was a variety of styles, sometimes long and flowing, sometimes short and layered; lots of bleached peroxide blondes, some with blue hair, some with streaked hair.
Young people were trying to prove something, and had an idealistic view of how they would be able to change the world.
ie: "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing"

both men and women had long hair. The fashion trend was loud colors. Long flowing dresses for women, neru jackets for men. Bell bottom jeans were popular and sandals were "in".

Good lawd kid...just do a google search for 1960's Fashion. Unless you mean a different century then that might be a bit harder for you to research.
But really...DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK.
