Where the parents' kids go off to college and they begin fighting. I dont really remember to much but i do remember the wife cooks something and asks lyke its the husbands dog. The husband also runs over the wifes...rabbit. thats al i remember lol.

Sounds like "War of the Roses". Kind of a dark vcomedy. Danny Devito tells the story but I cant remember the male and female leads.

"The War of the Roses".
He ran over her cat, but it was an accident. She told him she made pate out of the dog, and he freaks...but then you see the dog later in the film so you knew she was lying.
The rabbit thing happened in "Fatal Attraction", another Michael Douglas thing with Glenn Close.
I'm beginning to think Michael Douglas likes to be kicked around by women!
