Wasps won't sting u if you don't provoke them,unless u get too close to a hive then they may attack. The stuff in the windex bottle probably killed it, if not then u would here it trying to escape.

I would stay and open the doors and windows (if appplicable). If it's the kind of wasp who hangs around your ceiling he likely won't bother you, and eventually he should find his way out.

I would get a can of hair spray and keep looking around until the critter came out of hiding, then spray it with hair spray, then step on it after it falls.

LOL I would not be able to relax until I found it and killed it. It would freak me out a bit. I would EVEN leave P&S for a minute to get rid of it. :):)

I had the same happen to me once. I went after it. I heard it behind my dresser, and out of nowhere it stung me.
