Being a former violinist I say nobody. Alright I do like Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. Not a big Mozart, Chopin and Brahms. Edvard Grieg is good.

But if were talking about today's composers as well John Williams....Don't like his Star Wars stuff but everything else LOVE!!!!!

Brahms is good, but he lived during the Romantic era of music history. Beethoven is my favorite composer who lived (mainly) during the Classical era.

For me it's a toss up between Debussey and Chopin. Went through the 3 B's when I was taking piano. Not knocking it, it's just not for me. Thank goodness for your good taste in music.

Brahms is great., but not my all-time fav....
I vacillate between Mozart when I need clarity, and Richard Strauss when I need to let off steam.
