Well, last year I was in the very same situation. I had a great teacher, but lots of math homework. Just do the best you can. You should not be up that late doing homework! If you are stressed because you don't understand what you are doing, ask your math teacher. Just not the DAY before the test. She will be glad you asked her. These days, teachers just don't understand that their students have a life besides school. If you are a good student, and you can't finish it, your teacher should have enough sense to understand. My mom had to write me a note last year because I was unable to finish my homework and my teacher understood. Sometimes, if it is explained well enough to the teacher, they will lighten the homework load. It worked for me. If you need some stress relievers the night before a test, a great place to get some ideas is in the book 'Middle School How to Deal'. Even if you aren't in middle school, it is of great help. Stop stressing; your life will be sooo... much better.

Stop worrying. Get a good night's sleep. Just do what you are given. Turn off the radio & t.v. & focus. Give yourself 40 minutes, then get up, stretch, walk, whatever for 20 minutes. Then go back to it for another 40 minutes. You can usually concentrate for that longer & do it well, then your mind may have more trouble keeping focused. You'd be surprised how much you can get done in those short spurts of time.

Start it as soon as you get home, not at 10 pm. And don't spend more than 20 minutes on a single problem, just move on and try to get back to it later, or save it for class to ask the teacher for help.

No; although I want to do things well, I don't consider myself to be a perfectionist. It's just too much effort for the return in most situations.

first do not fear maths .It is a lovely and most useful subject.Second it is easy and fun doing more maths.Initially you will feel a little stress but as you taste the joy of getting correct answers that too in less time( you get it because of more practise)then you will get a lot of joy and ego satisfaction which will bring out the mathematician in you.Good luck!

Don't do it at all if you don't feel like it. Works for me.
