Golden State made a HUGE statement saying that "WE CAN BEAT THE MAVERICKS IN DALLAS ANYTIME, ANYWHERE". That is really something. Yeah its only one game but if the Warriors win the next game, they have a chance to be able to win that series.

i picked this series to go to 7 games but ultimately i think dallas will come through when they need to. golden state is just a fantastic matchup for dallas, the same way denver matches up great against san antonio. thats why phoenix will win it this year. the lakers will make for some fun games, but ultimately phoenix will have the easiest first round in the west. the spurs and nuggets will beat on eachother just like the warriors and the mavs.

Yes, it was a great start. I'm a Warriors fan, but I still think Dallas has the advantage because they've been a better team and they have playoff experience. But, this is how the Warriors needed to start this series in order to have a chance, so I think it will be a great series.

I'd still put my money on the Mavs if I were betting but Dallas is now 0-4 against the Warriors this year. That means something for sure. Go Warriors!!

Warriors can do it. The trade turned the team around. Yes they were inconsistant during the season, but you would have to consider that most of their players suffered injuries.. now that everyone is healthy, we can see what type of ball this young team can play. The best team won that game. Can't wait to see game 2. Dirk Struggled.. warriors guarded him well and put him out of his comfort zone.. Avery Johnson needs to find a better game plan to keep up with the Warriors.

Warriors are a very good opponent for the Mavs!

They will beat them

But I don't see them goin any deeper into the playoffs.

How long can Baron sustain this??? He is very injury prone plus on top of that you can get away with offensive firepower in the first couple of rounds but later on the fatigue will affect all the people

But GS will definitely get past the Mavs tho.

I like stats and this year the Warriors beat the Mavs all 3 times they played in the regular season and beating them today makes 4 for 4. I wasnt surprised when I saw it, I expected it.

i think they can but they have to play consitantly somethin they didnt do this season. they play constitantly and they can play with just about anyteam. Dallas should fear them. they maay be #8 seed but they are good and hard to gaurd

so if they play like this the rest of the series look for a 7 game series which could go either way

when the Warriors made the playoffs in the past, they were always huge in the 1st round (especially when they were the 8th seed)........then fizzle right afterwards.

this is probably the worst matchup for the Mavs since the Warriors play the uptempo game.

Anything's possible, but I don't think the W's will win 4 against the best team in the league. They're athletic and fun to watch, though.
