Of course it's possible! Your fate is what YOU make it.

Yes, there are random elements, to which we must react. But no one has to let these things dominate them.

FDR was crippled by polio. His family had plenty of money; he could have spent the rest of his life in a comfortable wheelchair. But he went on to a political career that ended in the White House.

Douglas Bader was an RAF pilot who crashed in a plane and lost both legs. He was told he'd never walk without help again. Not only did he learn to walk with prosthetic legs, he went back to the RAF and led British fighters during the Battle of Britain, rising to Wing Commander (Lt. Col. to us).

And yet.... many people who are given every advantage end up leading mediocre lives, or becoming outright failures.

The biggest factor in your fate is YOU.

I think that fate can be changed, but not by the perspn whose fate is being changed. I think it's up to the people around us to change our fate. We are powerless in terms of our own fate.

Yes.
You "change" your "fate" everyday by simple things like...
1. Looking both ways before you cross a street.
2. Eating and drinking.
3. All other things you do to prevent the "fate" of your death, which would probably happen if you didn't do simple things to prevent it on a day-to-day basis...

Y change your fate?

Y question the fate?

Let it be what it is supposed to be.

Ultimately, no matter how you try, fate cannot be changed. One way or another, what is meant to happen, happens.

Watch this movie: Sliding doors. Interesting movie about this topic.

Fate is the sum of the choices one has made. It is unknown until it has happened. If it is unsavory, it is useless to wallow in regret.

If you really want to change your fate, try making wiser choices. Listen to your gut and hope for happiness.

Yes. You are the author of your fate. You control your destiny. Even when things happen which are beyond your control, you still choose how to respond to them. You choose which way to go...

The fate is in ones' own hand, you know! not the lines in hand but the hand itself by co-relating brain commands, of course it is difficult for those who are sensitive, but not impossible. Sense (bhavana) if interpreted in positive way it leads creating "fate" in favor, but if interpreted in negative way it leads creating "fate" against. Some one had rightly said "your fate is in your hand".

I believe we make our own fate. By doing the things that we do, we mould our own fate.
