One of the best known and widely used technology is heavily dependent on relativistic non-euclidean geometry, Global Positioning Systems. Trying to make GPS work in "ordinary" flat spacetime would end up being a farce. At the high precision involved in GPS telemetry, non-euclidean effects are critical in accurate functioning of GPS technology.
