Did anyone else find the new Sopranos epidosde (4/22) boring?

SPOILER WARNING - IF YOU DID NOT WATCH THE EPISODE TONIGHT 4/22/2007 DO NOT READ FURTHER.


Where the heck was this episode going? All the stuff about kitkats, sprees, cocacola inside a mental institution drove me friggin insane. BORING

Then tony/paulies trip down to florida, besides the hot blonde that tony hooks up with, it was BORING

If this season doesnt get cranking pretty soon, I want a refund.

More of the same bullshit from last year. I am also waiting for the season to gain momentum. . . the season premiere was good, but only centered around a few characters. The second episode was great. Gripes:

-- Tony's away again? I want them to get down and dirty, with Tony in Jersey, running the business.

-- Too much action on Phil Leotardo's side. Why are they dedicating so much time to New York's power struggle? The show isn't even about them. Last year, Vito got way too much screen time. Now it's all about Phil. I understand that storylines expand, and the Sopranos universe is larger than it used to be, but come on. . . focus on the main characters.

It's time to start wrapping things up--and really wrapping them up, not throwing them away. Julianna Margolis's character was great, and all she gets is a quick mention last week, that Christopher is done with her, and she's gone?

And we better get some damn good Melfi scenes as well.

David Chase is entitled to his grandmaster plan or whatever, but he's really screwing with his viewers, and that's not cool.

What is happening here is you are seeing the lead up to the big trial. Who is the stoolie?

Tony is burning his bridges all around him.

He beat up one guy last week and then made him go kill somebody.

This week he is thinking about stabbing another guy.

He is already worried about the nephew.

And in Newyork Phil is killing the competition.

So what you have here is tony being arrested soon while a power struggle goes on between New York and New Jersey.

The question is you will actually be the one who turns on Tony and why and who will diein the power struggle. From a godfather angle I think it will be the daughter.
