Yes.
The "end" of a pig's life, is the "beginning" to many people's breakfast, lunch, and dinner...
Same with cows, carrots, and various other lifeforms.
All life feeds on other life, and all life needs other lifeforms to exist and reproduce in order to exist...
And the whole damn thing relies on water and the carbon-cycle of Mother Earth...which we are not taking very good care of...

Wow, I laid on the sofa all day today and watched TV and I heard that quote and "when one door opens, another one closes" like 900 times.
