First of all, steam open your pores. Then wash your face with a good cleanser (neutrogena, clean & clear, etc.) Then dunk your face in ice water. This will snap your pores shut.

1) Exfoliate. Products I like:
Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads - smooth on one side & textured on the other for extra exfoliation.
Murad AHA/BHA face wash - exfoliates w/ the AHA/BHA & jojoba beads.
Avon Microdermabrasion Scrub - evenly sized granules, no added fragrance, rinses clean. Highly effective w/o irritation.
2) Mask
Milk of Magnesia - apply in thin layer where needed & allow to dry 5-10 mins. Will absorb oil & tighten pores.
Origins Charcoal Mask or Beauty w/o Cruelty Clay Mask - both work well. Beauty w/o Cruelty is a better bargain.
Plain yogurt makes a good, soothing mask. You can add some ground oatmeal for a little extra exfoliation and honey for a little moisture.
Or you can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.
Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:
Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.
Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.
Hold 6 aspirin in palm, and slowly dripp water onto them until they fizzle and dissolve! Once dissolved, add 2-3 drops of honey into it and mix it around with finger. Apply to face. Keep it on 15-20 mins.
Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.
Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.
3) Use a toner. Witch hazel w/o alcohol or little alcohol or
for toner:
8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin
or
mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil
