can someone help me by stating the formula of finding the surface area of a tetrahedron

The area of a regular tetrahedron is a^2 * √3, where a is the length of a side.

tetra means four, so the surface area of a tetrahedron would be base times height times two, base2 times height 2 times two, and base 3 x height 3 times two.
