I love the name my parents gave me. My mother wanted to name me something else but my Daddy kept asking for the name I ended up with. When I was just 13 months old and he was only 23 years old, all 3 of us were in an automobile accident coming home from a county fair in Illinois. We were hit side, head-on, right corner of car and my Daddy was killed instantly.
That is why I am happy with my name. I wouldn't change it for any reason, now.

Well, last year I had it on my name tag at work until the boss saw it made my passengers smile. It said: HEY YOU. Had a lot of smiles with it.

Anyone CAN change their name if they want to. I changed mine many years ago.... to Lauren, and I love it.

I like my name *Darby*. It's very unique... I've only met one other person with my name my entire life. If I had to change it though, I would probably make it *Hey You*... that's what everyone calls me anyway!
