25 - 70x +49x^2 Factor each polynomial?

I need help with not judt the answer but mostly the steps to find the answer. Thanks.

I rewrote the problem in standard form
49x^2-70x+25
then i tried to find 2 numbers that give me 49x & 2 that give me 25
(7x 5 ) (7x 5 )
then i FOILed [first,outer, inner,last] them to see if it gave me the original equation
7x * 7x = 49x^2
7x * 5 = 35x
7x * 5 = 35x
5 * 5= 25
and it gives me
49x^2 __ 35x ___ 35x____ 25
then i just put the plus or minus signs
49x^2 - 35x + 35x + 25
then i simplified it
49x^2 -70x +25
and since it gave me the original i just plug the plus & minus signs into what i factored to give me the answer
(7x - 5 ) (7x - 5 )

Only two integers can multiply to give you 49: 7,7, so this simplifies the process a lot. (7x )(7x ) now you must find what times what equals 25, but when multiplied by 7 combines to give you -70: (7x-5)(7x-5) does the trick because -5 times -5 equals 25 and 7 times -5 twice gives you -70.
