By the way, I think people should respect them as well and should not call them names as they did not ask to be born that way... as far as i am concern, they are humans too ... so lets discuss this more normally as i do not want any insults to them... TQ

Hermaphrodite is an insulting and unacceptable word for most intersexed folks. Their gender identity is from within.
Ambiguous sex organs are there for a variety of reasons including chromosmal differences.
Usually these, unlike the urban legend here, are not fully functioning if functioning at all.
Most are assigned female for reconstructive surgery because the medical profession didn't think to wait to ask them what sex they are. As a result there have been several suicides when those folks found out after surgery and when they got a little older that they did not have a female identity. There's a movement (mostly by parents and some physicians and psychiatrists) to hold off sex determination until the child can have a say, but there was one infamous doctor, Dr. John Money, who preferred to listen to himself and get academic kudos for work later held in disrespect.
They dress like how they feel, reflecting their gender identity or their sex if they have been reassigned.
And if you really want to know about the beautiful people who are intersexed then Google the intersex society or the International Intersex Society among others.

My friend was born as a hermaphrodite (intersexed), but he didn't know it until a few years ago. On the outside he was a guy, but when he started getting pain in his stomach and the doctors did an ultrasound, they found out that he had female organs. (The pain was from the menstraul cycle. The docs said that the blood was just absorbed back into his body)
He recently got the organs removed due to an infection, but his chromosomes still remain XXY. He has always gone under the title of "he" since that's what his has always been on the outside.
(Oh, and he is gay)

they are called hermaphrodites. Most of the time, they get operated on as babies to remove one set of the genitals. Which one depends on hormone factors and also physical characteristics but i am sure you have read about people who are born this way, the doctors decide that they are female or male, operate and when they grow up they feel the other way which can cause a lot of confusion and misery.
I am not sure where you would meet people with this condition though, sorry!

So what do you want to know?
I am looking for a male partner.
There is no normal way to dress, as i feel comfortable in both male and female cloths.
You do not have to believe in all you read on the Internet, because you are not like us we lead a different life style to any one else.
Why would you like to know more of us?
BTW some of us are born 1 in 1,000 live births.
Hermaphrodite is not what we are that type of name in not what we like to be called, where as intersexuail is more acceptable because in theory we could carry our own children and hermaphrodites can't

As I understand it there have been about 150 recorded and authenticated hermaphrodites. No doubt there have been many more that never come to the attention of the medical world

gray's Human anatomy is a very solid e book simply by point of component it holds. yet another solid one is termed interest and features by Howard Schatz. It has thousands of images of ballet and present day paintings dancers (both male and lady) in it. in spite of the actual undeniable truth that I might want to furnish you with a caution that there is quite nudity in it. yet it remains a superb one in my opinion for anatomy paintings.

Yeah, they're called hermaphrodites, or intersexed.
Most of the time there is some level of mental retardation, so they don't date... most of the time they are not capable of being fully "functional" mentally.
There may be someone out there who is intersexed and who is of healthy mental state, lets just hope they are somewhere where being "different" is shunned.
EDIT: I'm VERY sorry if I offended anyone, but these aren't my words!!!!!! I read this in a book!!!!!!!!!!! It must have been out of date. Once again I am VERY, TRULY sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know of one, who was mentally healthy. She had surgery to take away the male genitalia.
They actually found sperm, and implanted that into her friend, who bore a son for her.
