I would do a little research on the surgery and choose the surgeon wisely. I would make a will to ensure my family would be taken care of and so my money and belongings would be distributed fairly. I would prearrange my final wishes/funeral just incase I do not make it through surgery. I would hire someone to be a personal caretaker or a trusted family member to help out after surgery if my logic was effected. Finally, I would do all the things I have ever wanted to do and go on a lengthy vacation to spend time with those I love.

Do some research on it so my frontal lobe isn't destroyed, or just have a better surgery performed, no matter how much money it costed. If none of those would work, I would go to a temple far away in Tibet and practice some buddist traditions and ceremonies so my next life can be more enjoyable.

i do no longer think of so. the subject with psychiatry is that most of the flaws are spectrum issues. Take upload as an occasion. everybody has a level of it, some extra beneficial than others. At what factor do you come back to a determination human beings want drugs? nicely, it extremely is the place the subjectivity is obtainable in. it extremely is all per what the affected person comments as indications. it is the subjective factor in all of drugs. maximum different kinds of drugs, even with the undeniable fact that, even have the objectivity of lab tests. Psychiatry would not have this luxurious, yet that would not recommend there is not any objective assessment. The clinician makes an objective assessment of the affected person. once you notice a affected person with bipolar sickness or schizophrenia, there is obviously something incorrect. those everybody is mentally ill. even nonetheless I even have misgivings approximately some components of psychiatry, I do think of there are a number of very real, existence-threatening situations that would desire to be dealt with. i think of that psychiatry does a quite reliable activity of it too. So little of drugs is a precise technological know-how, yet for some reason human beings purely attack psychiatry.

Provided my decision was to choose life, a "guide or mentor" must be engaged to prepare the mind and body for the long road ahead.
There are current studies of the mind (as an organ) where it re-wires itself and compensates for its own shortcomings. What a wonderful opportunity to discover and learn about these new sciences - and to have a front-row seat.
Kinda a heavy-duty question for so early in the evening, Mr. SuperRobot2001.

I wouldn't even bother with the surgery. I mean, what is the point of going stupid? I rather just let the brain disorder take its course, good or bad...

think of ways to make more money for my parents till their old age.
write a will to say that if after the operation i become totally dependent on others, i would give the hospital permission to let me die and donate all reusable organs.
and pack my room.
